"Chittasya shuddhaye karma na tu vastu upalabdhaye; vastu siddhih vichaarena na kinchit karma kotibhih." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Translation : 1 Chittasya shuddhaye karma = charitable acts help to purify the mind, 2 na tu vastu upalabdhaye; = but do not lead to the attainment of Reality. 3 vastu siddhih vichaarena = The Self is attained only by discriminative analysis, 4 na kinchit karma kotibhih. = and not in the least by crores of actions. ---------------------------------------
