Atma :(verses 211-212.)



Ātma – other than the five kośas (verse 211)---------------------------------------------------------------

211. This Atma is Self-effulgent and distinct from the five-sheaths. It is the witness of the three states, is Real, is without modifications, is unsullied and bliss everlasting. The wise peson should realize It as one‘s own true self.

What is ātman? – disciple (verse 212)--------------------------------------------------------

212. The disciple asked…."After negating these five sheaths as unreal, I find nothing but an absence of everything, O revered Teacher. By which entity then, should the wise, realize oneness with the Self?"
